Project Summary
The project consisted of (3) phases. Phase 1: consisted of building envelope repairs, removal and replacement of all the windows and curtain walls on the east and west elevation. The project also included the removal of a portion of the exterior brick that was replaced with metal panels. Phase 2: consisted of the replacement of the south elevation curtain wall, building envelope repairs, removal and replacement of all the windows and curtain wall on the south elevation. Phase 3: consisted of the removal and replacement of existing windows at the John Hodgins Engineering Building. The scope of work included demolition of existing windows at the stairwells, offices and penthouse. Preparation of existing openings to receive new engineered curtainwall system masonry repairs and restoration included. The building remained in operation, via temp closures and staging plan during construction.
